about
eng: one of the last songs that was born after playing around with my acoustic guitar. I was goofing around with guitar licks and after a while the song came out pretty easily. My intention always was to have this song instrumental, even Shere insisted on adding it some lyrics since we already had too many instrumental songs. I liked the idea of having vocal harmonies a la Beach Boys, but it was impossible for me to play guitar and sing at the same time. Lya and Shere did sing it live, even when I wasn’t much into playing it. When we recorded it, Shere managed to do multiple layers of her own voice, it was great to have a lovely harmony as a result. I think the thing I like the most about this song are the drumbeats Lya made, playful and solid. I always felt it was important for Elaine to mock some rock clichés, like the ending of this song.
